Hi all and happy hump day!! The athleisure trend may be my new favorite trend. I keep to be comfy but still look put together and cute?! Yes please! I was scared to try out the trend at first because I wasn’t sure how to mesh everything together. Matt and I had a lazy day exploring Santa Monica so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to put an outfit together and test it out.
For my pants I opted for a pair of workout leggings. Mine are sold out at Target but I found some similar ones here! My sweater is one that I snagged at the Nordstrom anniversary sale but it still available now. I know it has a little bit of a price tag but it is extremely comfortable and good quality. But good news its back on sale! I also love that is says “super loved” on it in rose gold leaf letters. It also comes in a black writing version. I’ve washed it a few times already and the lettering has stayed on – major win! For size reference I’m wearing a size 1.

To really nail the athleisure look I think it helps to not wear your sneakers that you work out in. You can totally wear your favorite Nike’s with it but I decided to stick to my fashion sneakers instead. I opted for my Adidas Stan Smiths which are currently on sale for only $60! I also currently have my eye on these Adidas platform superstars that I think would also pair well with this outfit!

Since the sun was signing and there was not a cloud in the sky I naturally had to bring out a pair of my flash lens sunglasses. I was feeling my purple shades for this round but my solid black ones would have looked good with this too. See more pictures of how I styled it and shop my post below:
