For my 21+ readers, you know what I mean when I say wine is an acquired taste that everyone loves!
Over the weekend I went with Matt and some friends to Malibu Wines! If you follow me on snapchat, username brittfriedman, you got a peek at some of the fun! It was the first time I had been there, and let me tell you, I will be going there frequently. The vibe there is unbelievable!
There are a few different options for what to do there. You can either reserve a table (including a table inside a cute yellow school bus) which require minimum bottle orders, or you can just find a spot on the grass (turf) and sit down and enjoy! You’re allowed to bring in your own food but if you forget, there’s a tiny market at the front that sells cheese and crackers. We went with some brie, some Wisconsin cheddar, garlic & herb crackers, and regular crackers, which were delicious!
We opted to bring our own blanket and sit on the ground. It wasn’t uncomfortable at all. We played cards against humanity while listening to the live band that was playing and sipping on our wine. To say we have fun would be an understatement! For the wine, we tried out their Rosé and Sauvignon Blanc. It was sunny and warm so it didn’t seem right to drink red wine. Both were really good!
If you’re ever visiting Los Angeles, this should definitely be on your list of places to go! This was in no way sponsored by Malibu Wines, I just enjoyed it so much I had to share it with you all! Side note, I instagrammed that first picture in this post (@brittfriedman – follow along!) and Malibu Wine’s reposted it on their page! Happy hump day all! XO
