It’s Wednesday and you know what that means?! We’re halfway to the weekend people, woot woot! Lol. Today’s post is dedicated to traveling in style. And I’m not talking just your outfit, but also your luggage! The Holiday’s are right around the corner, and for most of us, that means hopping on a plane to travel.
I never used to be one to think about how I looked at the airport or what my suitcases looked like. I had black luggage that I put a pink ribbon on so I could distinguish it from the rest of the black luggage, and usually wore yoga pants and a sweatshirt. Fast forward to today, and now I like to travel in style!
I think it’s pretty much safe to safe that I am obsessed with my new white marble suitcases gifted to my by CalPak! So far, I’ve only been able to travel with the carry on and at least 5 people stopped to me to ask me where I got such cute luggage! Matt and I are about to head to New York today to attend yet another wedding and then stay for Thanksgiving so I finally get to break out my big suitcase.
There are a few things that make my CalPak luggage so great. First, they’re hard sided and roll on 4 wheels. Serious game changer, especially if you’re an over packer like me with a suitcase that’s most likely overweight. There is also plenty of room to pack on both sides of each suitcase. Each piece of luggage also has this super cool lock on it. You pick your own code that you set when you first get your bags, you then place the two zippers in the lock on the side of the suitcase and snap them in. Your suitcase is then locked and secure from anyone getting in! But don’t worry, these locks are TSA approved and have a spot for a key that TSA can use to unlock your bag, should they need to further inspect what’s inside.
I have the 3-piece milk marble astyll luggage set (it also comes in a 2-piece set, and just the carry on) and CalPak just came out with a black marble version of it! They also have plenty of other great options so make sure you check them out. As for my outfit, I still like to dress comfortably but still put together. Since the flight to New York from LA is almost 6 hours, I decided to go with a pair of skinny jeans (that are super comfortable), a tank top with a zip up jacket over it (I’m always freezing on planes and this zip up is chic with its faux leather vest detail) and some sneakers (full size down, they run big).
